Used this to replace potentiometer on my ancient Hillbilly. This item was an exact match-10k made in Mexico-for the original one except for the way it joins to the main wiring loom. I simply snipped off the old connector from the main loom and attached the three wires directly into the screw clams of the new potentiometer. All works well. Just a tip...always try switch cleaner as a first resort to fix an erratic potentiometer.
