    Best album of the 2000s from the most important talent of her generation

    I'd been aware of Fiona Apple for some time but never really got round to listening to her stuff until recently - perhaps that's because she's never been that big in the UK, and also because I'm more of a rock fan. Now though I get what I have been missing, and I can't think of anyone of her generation who matches her in terms of originality as a songwriter (lyrics and music), and she is also a terrific singer and performer. This is probably her most accessible album alongside Tidal, and I think your mum and dad would like it too.

    Listen again

    Having already had the 1st two Fiona Apple albums I purchased this without previously hearing any tracks. 1st pass was that she had slipped from her previous standards. Lucky for me I had put it into my car on a long journey & by the 3rd time through I was hooked. A great album if your give it the time.

    Fiona Apple American singer

    Fiona Apple has a great voice, with strong songs and great lyrics. Songs vary from kooky, cheerful and light to angry - stressing independence and the complexities of relationships. Though album not quite as punchy as 'When the Pawn'

    amazing

    Once again Fiona has amazed me when I thought she couldn't do it anymore! I am a big fan of her work and this CD/DVD simply reassured my admiration. Hear it when you are feeling high, to feel higher. A must-have even on these times of downloading everything.
