good or squirrels
The only problem I have found with this is hat during the night some "larger nighttime critters" came by and tried to have their way with it. It survived, but it was hung up on the bird feeder it was hanging from. Now I have to hang it higher at night to keep it from being tampered with. The squirrels still enjoy it but they really like the scrap bird seed that the small birds throw down. That's what brings the squirrels around daily.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works very well for entertainment purposes
This has entertained the squirrels and therefore my cats watching from the window for hours on end. Only downside is the squirrels have buried each kernel of corn individually all over my yard. Great product for those who like to feed the squirrels. Excellent company should there be a defect. IF you have a large number of the critters, you should replace the chain with a heavier duty version since they can be quite destructive if given the opportunity. I bought this squirrel bungee to replace one that finally fell apart and was dragged off by some nocturnal visitor after hanging 10+ years in my parent's backyard. The squirrels love it and my family has enjoyed hours of entertainment watching their antics. It does a great job distracting the critters from our various bird feeders. Squirrels used to spend all day trying to climb up the drainpipe or downward from roof to see if they could spill some seed or nectar for themselves. It has a chain to adjust the "length" of how far it hangs; the bungee is covered by fabric for "no pinching", the bell notifies you of squirrel activity; and I especially like the ease of placing the corn cob on with large screws...twist, hang, release and they will come! I have to work for my supper, why shouldn’t the squirrels ? Funny as he,, to watch! The squirrels don’t mind putting on a show and we don’t mind watching. We hung ours on a shepherds hook by a tree. They’ll jump from the ground and from the tree and always do a backflip and stick the landing.
