    Top quality - Easy to use - Drum tight stock fences.

    I wish that I'd have purchased this product years ago as it has made fencing ten times easier! The tensioner is easy and effortless to use, and tensions stock mesh and wire to drum tight, so make sure your straining posts are up to the job! Excellent build quality good for many years of use.

    Far from the best

    On the plus side the Draper wire tensioner is simple and easy to use. On the negative side: the tool is only suitable for tensioning short lengths of wire & then only when stapling the end; the wire gripping jaws are poorly designed & wire falls out easily. If you want to pull wire like the professional get a chain type tensioner.

    Fit for purpose

    Both tools do what they are designed to do. Wire tensioner enables you to get really good tension on wire. Works with any diameter wire. Need to take care with smaller diameter wire as it is easy to put too much tension on the wire and it will snap.

    All you need for stock or wire fencing

    Simple, easy to use and robust, it all works as it says on the tin. The only thing I wish is that you could alter the angle that you contact the post, had some fencing on some hilly ground and its a bit of a pain to use but then not seen one that does work on an angle. Great value for money and the fencing pliers just make all the other tasks so much easier.

    draper fencing tensioner

    we have been using a cleat bar for tenshioning wire which wasn't always easy and would slip or break wire .The draper tool doesn't slip and we can get more tension ,very simple but effective tool.
