An excellent value datalogger
An excellent little datalogger that has an external probe that can be used to measure surface temperature or in a specific location. Elitech provide excellent free software to set up the RC-4 and to then download recorded data in various forms including an easy to look at pdf. The RC-4 is easy to set up for logging interval, units, alarms and can be started and stopped by the button including a start so it records what you want when it starts.An excellent little datalogger that has an external probe that can be used to measure surface temperature or in a specific location. A bit awkward to first use, but a great little unit
Great little logger at the price, although computer operating program is a bit "mind bending" to get round initially. I have two of them I use for my Gardening Greenhouse , one surface air reading and this one with the probe to record and study soil temperatures for overnight drop. The instructions should give a clearer picture on how to erase old data and refresh ?

Excellent way to check incubators
This is a great piece of kit that allows you to check temperature over a prolonged time period. Durham Hens use them to monitor incubator performance and help identify any variation and cold/hotspots. I have a number of Elitech products all very good.
