excellent for the money
I think the stools were excellent value, really well packed and seem very robust. There were quite a lot of parts and instructions which was pretty challenging but I like a challenge! To be honest they were not exactly what I had in mind to buy but with so many shops closed and the few I visited had stool at 3-4 times the price that I did not like so I ordered these as a 'throw-away stop-gap' - I think it's very likely that I will still be using them still in a few years - in fact I have ordered some cushions to be made for them - made to match my kitchen blinds they will probably cost as much as the stools so that shows what good value the stools were!I think the stools were excellent value, really well packed and seem very robust. Not good quality but Mercer did the right thing
Mercer’s furniture have rectified the problem by allowing me to return assembles furniture. However I was left with blCk stains on my cream carpet as the hardware was not sealed and the black just rubbed off on everything. Every time I touched the bolt on the side once assembled the black just rubbed off. Not good quality at all. I have the entire Corona set (dining table, dresser, smaller storage units) from Wayfair and never had this issue. I appreciate they took it back and arranged the collection though without any hassle.Mercer’s furniture have rectified the problem by allowing me to return assembles furniture. Check and recheck before assembly.
Made the mistake of not checking the screw hole positions against what section it was being screwed to. Had to take it apart twice. Maybe help by putting small stickers on leg and cross bar sections that should be matched together eg; AA . BB.. CC.

Great value for money. Lovely stools.
Solid, well constructed, and easily assembled. I could not find a fault with these stools. They are taller than I needed but easily sorted by cutting two inches off the legs with a hand saw. Job done! Love 'em!
