Great DIY fix
It was easy to fit and worked well - this was the first time I have attempted to do this myself. The rope did take about a week to bed in really well and I had to use additional force to shut the door during this time. in retrospect, perhaps I should have flattened it down well before puting the door back on. I now have a really good seal and the fire is drawing in only the amount of air set by the levers. There is a good Stovax video on YouTube showing how to replace the door rope.It was easy to fit and worked well - this was the first time I have attempted to do this myself. Quality rope, easy to fit
I had not changed the rope for a wood burning fire before, but the pack contained everything I needed, in the right size to make the task straightforward. I would recommend watching a how-to video if, like me, this task is new to you.

Easily fitted giving tight seal.
Everything needed to replace seal on door. Gives a tight fit. Had a little cement left over so sufficient to fit rope seal securely. Fire resistant tape to help prevent fraying when cutting rope to size. Easily fitted and at an acceptable price.

Great product, worked well.
Excellent product, used a youtube video to get some tips as the Stovax book wasn't very helpful. However the rope glue and ceramic tape were all spot on, fire is much more controllable now.
