Trimmer for the older generation!
This lightweight trimmer is excellent for older people. I’ve not been able to trim and edge my lawns for 2years until I found this one on EBay. It is light and easy to use. It is not for heavy duty trimming but is fantastic for maintaining a lawn without having to rely on others to “ help out”. I can independently get out in my garden and trim!! Thank you

Get on your knees and eat the grass...less hassle and less time wasted.
Now I had a chance to use it. The guard is press on and insecure, it fits in a manner that makes it difficult to cut in front of you and does not protect your ankles fully. The thin wire with it snaps every two seconds and you have to take apart the head to re-thread the wire (5 times on one 15ftx10ft lawn) A typical example of Chinese quality. Utter JUNK. Better off buying a second hand brand one.Now I had a chance to use it. Value for money but!
Used only on grass it's a great little machine, that may sound like a silly statement after all it's a strimmer it's supposed to be used on grass isn't it. Well we all have stoned borders, decking, concrete, wooden or plastic edges don't we, this is were this machine falls down. It operates at a very high speed and as soon as the strimmer line hits anything other than grass it breaks, then you discover the biggest drawback with this strimmer, re-threading the line ! it's extremely difficult, extremely frustrating and time consuming. It's possible to spend twice as much time re-threading the line as you do strimming the lawn.
