This antenna mounted a measly 10 feet off the ground works better than my Channel Master un-amplified 8 bay with 70" Rg6 @ 40+ feet. It even has a working rotor that moves about 350Deg but unfortunately, it only goes one way fully until it heads back in the other direction. The major draw back is it's flimsy materials.... paper thin aluminum whith even cheaper plastic used to hold the antenna to the mast. That said still good value for the money, just wish the provided antenna coax was longer than 20feet... u will need a special F connector for the ultra thin coax if you plan on extending the coax beyond 20 ft. I would recommend this for someone on a budget.

The entire unit is flimsy and weak. The elements are extremely thin aluminum which bends and breaks easily. The mounting brackets are thin plastic. The mounting rod is only 1/2 inch diameter and does not match any of my antenna poles so I would need to make a special bracket to mount it on the roof. The rotor unit is also flimsy and the wind can rotate the antenna in spite of the rotor. I don't think the antenna would survive the first strong wind so I will mount it inside my attic where it won't turn. It came with a thin 30 foot cable which would be hard to change. Neither the cable or connector are standard. Instructions were useless--I had to assembly the unit by trial and error and wasted over an hour in the process. Overall it is a cheap antenna price wise and even cheaper in quality. Definitely not worth the effort or cost.Read full review

I already had one of those square black amplified antennas from a box store and paid around $20 I think. Anyways I haven't had a chance to install this on the roof yet so it is in the house sitting on the floor hooked up. Big box store antenna would lose signal if you used your cell phone. You could be watching a show then pick up your phone to Google something or go on eBay and the TV would act the fool. We're in the country so the cell towers are a distance from us. Cable and internet aren't available here. So anyways this thing took less than 10 minutes to assembly. The reason for 4 stars is the wire. I'm going to install it on the roof and have to use a rg6 cable. The cable that comes off the antenna is similar to the RCA cable type. That cable goes into the amplifier and then a rg cable comes out of the amplifier to screw into the back of your tv.Read full review

Set it up on June 03, 2018 worked great then the amp died on it on Aug 8th, 2018. Just over two months. Junk now. Very bad design as the design exposes all the antenna circuit board to the outside elements rain etc... If they changed the design to seal the under part of the board from outside weather it might last 6 months to a year.

Very poorly made. I'll be surprised if it lasts through one wind storm. While the reception is good the rotor only works intermittently. Also there's no remote with this unit. You'll have to get up outta your chair to push the button on the control box next to the TV. I'd recommend that you pass this unit by.
