The product's consistency was not the same as ones I've purchased directly from Clinique... it was much more watery and the color was off.... not sure if it was a bad batch but I've been using this product consistently for the last 5 years and immediately noticed these differences. Going forward I will purchase directly from Clinique... you truly do get what you pay for and at least I know the product will be authentic.

I've tried 6 other products and used them for months on end with no luck and this is the only one that has showed some results. I really wish this was the first product I tried; I'd be a lot happier with my skin's complexion. As any skin lightener, it takes at least 4 to 8 weeks for results to show. This is among the pricier types, but I am not disappointed. Patience is needed for lightening up those stubborn dark spots and over time, I've been extremely happy with the results and will not use anything else.
I purchased this product to help the sun damage on my face (top of cheekbones.) I followed the directions and used in combination with the Even Better: day moisturizer, cover up and foundation. I also use: Clarifying lotion, Youth Surge night cream and Repairwear eye cream. After about two weeks I saw improvement and continued to see improvement on my sun spots. They got lighter and even my Husband mentioned he could tell the difference! After 12 weeks I can see a marked difference in the color of my sun spots but they are still visible (so if you are looking for a product that gets rid of your sun spots 100% this is not the product for you.) I will continue to use the serum in hopes they'll lighten even more. It was recommended I purchase all the other Even Better products but I am not entirely sure they're necessary. The most important product is the serum, everything else has SPF in it to prevent more spots. So I would say just make sure you have SPF in your moisturizer/makeup and you should be good. It cost a little too much for the size of the bottle but it does lighten the dark spots. You have to use it for about 2 months before you can notice it becoming lighter. It is a great product if you have areas on your face you need to lighten. It was worth the money because it did work.
