The panel with the window apertures when fitted was flush both ends but the batons either side of the window spaces were out of true vertical. This left the plastic panes with a centimeter gap between edge of pane and baton when the fault was tracked from the frame top to the frame bottom and vice versa on the r/h side anyway. It's something I can bodge and live with and I won't invite Joe Public in to have a shufti.
