It does it's job at a brilliant price
Let's work backwards, what would make it a bad product? If it didnt' fit properly, if it fell apart before you even got it in, poor assembly. I change my oil more frequently than recommended if I've done a long fast trip (eg London to West Devon and back) and I want a consistently good quality product that does the job. Being a nerdy type I've looked at one or two of them after I've changed them to see what condition they're in and see what they've filtered out. The paper has always been intact, if it wasn't for the taste you could still use it as a coffee filter. You can see that it's done it's job.
