    You get what you pay for.

    I bought this for my mother-in-law thinking she could save some money by opting out of cable or satellite television. Her television is a relatively new Vizio, but it took forever to figure out how to make it scan for digital antenna channels. Once it did, it detected about ten channels, despite a huge assortment of towers less than a mile from her house. Of these ten channels, only two or three actually play without freezing every few seconds. Very poor reception overall. The antenna cost less than $12 shipped, however, so my expectations were not high.

    stripped Coaial cable worked better.

    Managed to get one channel out of 18 to come in clear. Suction cup mount did not work well on any surface. I did not look carefully at this before I bought it. I thought it was a powered unit with an amplified signal. It is not. In my area it is useless. A foot of bare wire on the end of a coaxial cable worked much better!!! So did an old fashioned rabbit ear analog antenna which is what I am using now. No power amplifier and yet I get all 18 stations and a few audio only stations.. Save your money if you have power lines close or any other interference.

    Ok with strong TV signals

    Works well if one is within 10 miles or less of the station. Beyond 15 miles and signal loss is unacceptable AND it is not omnidirectional. The position that brings on one station may not get another requiring the antenna be moved. The suction cup is a joke, it simply does not work at all.

    You get what you pay for.

    The antenna is easy to hook up and mount, BUT doesn,t have more than a 20 degree spectrum. It needs to be moved to acquire signal when channel is changed.

    JUST OKAY

    I bought this same antenna previously and it worked very good. When I got this one I hooked it up and found that I was only able to get 10 channels. (I got 44+ with the previous antenna) Not sure why this is but it resulted in me being not very satisfied with this unit.
