I like on this phone still looks like new one and works very well. The price was fantastic, smart and simple mobile phone.
I bought this product because it is perfect for me. Easy use, perfect form. In my opinion this is one of the best product of Nokia.
This is one of the great phones that Nokia occasionally put out. The camera is fantastic quality, although "only" 3.2mpixel. The software on it is amazing. It has a business card reader using the camera! Synchronises perfectly with both Lotus Notes and Outlook. Note be careful if you buy a Vodafone unlocked phone, they work on all networks for text and calls but are still Branded as Vodafone and they are a pig to get rid of all the old settings, so you cant set them up for MMS and internet browsing I have ended up using a software package called Nemesis to change the product code then updating the firmware to the latest, and it gets rid of the old Vodafone rubbish. Oh and if you want O2 settings, tell them its an E71 as they have not authorised the E66. The E71 uses the same firmware so all the settings work perfect Unfortunately it has been discontinued by the Mobile carriers, but can still be bought either direct @ Nokia or Expansis, although the Nokia site offers a full 24 month guarantee :-) I have just set up Push e-mail and POP e-mail today...fantastic. This does everything and more :-) I cant see the need to have an ugly Blackberry now when this does everything I will ever need Also You can run Skype, MSN Messenger, Facebook etc.. via a fantastic package called NimBuz for free, and if like me you have more than one account with msn and skype, you can run them all at the same time...wicked By the way, if you just use this as a phone, battery life is excelent, however soon as you start using WiFi or data, battery is restricted to about a day, but I am ok with this as I am getting more out of the device that my netbook, which only last 3 hours!Read full review
I had a Nokia E65.. so I eagerly awaited the delivery of this one to see if it compares. That was a brilliant phone, and this one is enhanced with GPS, and a better quality camera, so things were promising.. And as usual Nokia did not disappoint. The sliding action of the phone has the same quality feel as before, it feels like it will work like that forever. The buttons have a little bit more movement downwards when pressed, which is good, as on the E65 you were never sure, without looking at the screen, if it had registered. The old E65 had a part hard plastic, part nice soft touch plastic casing. The soft touch plastic was prone to the soft part rubbing off. The new E66 is all polished metal plates on the back, and parts of the side, with good quality plastic forming the rest of the case. It is like a going from an old Ford Escort, into a new Ford Mondeo, with its modern interior finishing! The wireless LAN connected immediately. I have now successfully downloaded Garmin XT Satellite Navigation to the phone. All went smoothly (apart from finding an up to date, easy to download, free map of the UK! - but that is not the phones fault), and the system is just as good as on my N95 8GB. The camera appears to give good quality images, but the smaller pixelation compared to the N95 is noticeable, especially in low light..Read full review
Vast improvement over the E65 to use - much more responsive key presses & menus, clearer graphics and great camera. Probably has a few too many functions on it that you will never use or do not relate to UK Networks but you can easily organise these to the back of the folders. Built in GPS works a treat and is one of the most responsive I have seen on a phone, the WLAN however, is the opposite and struggles to find a signal unless you are stood right next to routers. Phone feels like real quality in the hand and very well made (lovely slide mechanism) and it is obviously a professional quality / business handset (especially as Nokia even made a model specific car cradle for it). If you use Nokia PC Suite a lot, it is a bit quirky especially in the file manager section (very hard to locate the memory card folder) but I am sure Nokia will fix this with one of their multitude of update releases. Biggest downer is the same as with all high spec phones - the battery life is useless (aren't they all). Reallistically you are looking at a couple of days even with only a small amount of use and the data connection disabled.Read full review
