Good repair but fiddly
I had 2 small tears in a flysheet to repair. The instructions say to round off the edges of the tape before applying, so I cut circular pieces and found it quite difficult to separate the tape from the backing. If the piece included the division in the backing then it would be easy to remove the backing. However, for small patches, this results in inefficient use of the tape. Once the backing was removed the tape stuck well to the flysheet, though make sure there are no creases before applying the tape as it's impossible to remove creases once the tape is on. I applied the tape to both sides of the flysheet, so I think I have a watertight repair, though only time will tell!I had 2 small tears in a flysheet to repair. worth it-buy it!!!
Hi there-Yes I wish too tell any one interested why this item was worth its money! The number one box too tick-the repair tap worked-was strong and stayed in place, binding the hole in my ex-military canvas tent. The repair was important to my self having tried other repair tapes before I bought Kampa tape-Also the high winds and rain made the repair more difficult and other tapes didn't hold for long and came off and I found the tape on the floor later. Kampa tape I used has a last try and didn't hope for much-expecting the hole too widen over the next few days of bad weather. I was happy and surprised because the tape didn't look or feel any different from the other tapes I had used over the week-So I slapped Kampa tape over the hold and in the morning was prepared too start ... Hi there-Yes I wish too tell any one interested why this item was worth its money! Awning Repair
We had an awning that ripped in high winds and purchased this tape for a temporary repair. Applied the tape to both sides of the tear and it is so good it has become the permanent solution. We have still used the awning and the repair has stood up to some very strong winds. A great product.

Kampa tent repair tape.
I bought this tape to repair three small holes in the roof of my tent. It went on well and stuck tight throughout my next caming trip despite 3 days of torrential rain and high wind. No leaks! Very happy.
