    Best shaving soap I have ever used.

    Have tried the rest, then found the best, very easy to lather lovely rich creamy lather, smell is great what more could you ask for and at a very reasonably cost, I have recommended this Kent shaving soap to all of my friends, I have been using it for years, I also have the Kent shaving bowl I use the shaving soap then back into the bowl for next shave.

    Poor quality, high price

    I bought this as an alternative to buying soap in a plastic dish that I had bought previously for ecological reasons. Sadly it doesn't lather well, and has the fragrance and consistency of a poor quality soap. At £10 I had high hopes that this would be a quality product, but sadly not. You would be better buying cheap soap at a supermarket instead. Really disappointed and won't purchase again.

    Better for your face than gel

    Changed over from shaving gel to this soap. The shave is definitely closer and my skin is not drying out like it did with gel. Shaving soap is not as convenient as a can but if you can spend the little extra time the results are a worthwhile improvement. Kent is not strongly perfumed and fits snuggly in a standard size soap dish. Overall I am well happy and reckon it will out last four cans so saving money as well. Four stars as I expected richer lather but that could be our hard water!

    Makes the shaving ritual pleasurable.

    It's a great product, makes a rich lather without too much effort. Nice, manly smell. Not puffy at all. The only thing I'd like to see is a convex shape to one side. That way it would sit plum in the shaving bowl. I had to do a bit of chasing around, if you know what I mean, before it settled in. I'll buy it again.
