      Who could go wrong with Bloomfield

      I find this to be a good collection but as previously stated in other's reviews; this is not the collection to get if you are looking for more popular songs. It is a varied collection that won't just have Bloomfield playing guitar as in the customary electric gig but also acoustic, slide guitar, and piano. There are alot of strange songs on here for sure and it is all stuff off his takoma period which is definitely cool but you will not be betting BUTTERFIELDESQUE playing here so be warned. Bloomfield indulged alot of creative muses and this is a variety here too. The beauty of this collection is you get the reality of his amazingly formidable guitar playing skills. I have heard few guitarists that could do as much as he could on a guitar and do it as proficiently. The one that comes to ...
