    Ford Transit connect rear bumper

    After being tail ended at a junction, I was forced into looking for a replacement rear bumper. I always discount really cheap products, so from the choice available, chose a mid range price option. The part appears to be a genuine Ford item & fitted perfectly, the only difficulty I had was with the new plastic top capping strip, eventually resorting to re using my original piece.If you resort to following video clips off google, you will see a chap on there fitting one, he states that the fixing bolts are 17mm, take no notice, they are definitely 15mm & a bit of a git to get at. Cannot fault the products quality, finish or price. No hesitation in recommending the supplier.

    No nuts

    Upon receiving this item I took it out the box to fit it there and then and it had no nuts .... how do you bolt it on . So I rang the number on the card and they said they don’t supply the nuts , that’s poor a one pound but doesn’t even come with it and the lady said on the phone you need to go to the manufacturer , I might as well of got a bumper while I’m there at ford no I don’t think you should purchase this without them sending you the nut aswell what a long process that was to get a nut thanks

    Great price and looks good right out of the box but it doesn't go together at all. I wouldn't buy again.

    The metal part of the bumper fits the vehicle ok but the plastics (end caps, top cover and towing eye cover) either don't fit at all due to bad moulding or the receiving holes in the metal bumper are wrong. Even using the original mouldings didn't work properly.

    Cheap Rubbish - Get what you pay for! Should have known better.

    Very poor quality.....in agreement with the other poor reviews, plastic parts no not fit together properly, the main bumper itself doesn't align to with the mounting holes on the vehicle or the towing eye. To be frank this is utter junk.....But it may get you out of trouble for a cheap price, that's all I can say on a positive note.

    low cost transformation

    The plastic parts are not an exact fit but with the help of a few black self tappers the finished effect is good. The most difficult part of replacing the bumper was removing the old one, once off the new one went on smoothly. At tip, fit the plastic parts before fitting bumper, especially the long cover, if fitting later it is difficult to line up the clips and they can snap off.
