      Remote control

      Excellent value remote,purchased this along with a touch dimming switch.I was impressed with how simple its operation was straight out the box. It makes sense to buy one for a bedroom or someone who maybe finds it difficult to get up and down.Don't be put off by its price. Works well two AA batteries required for operation.only criticism is its weight feels light/cheap....but that's about it...

      Not powerful enough especially if line of sight to the switch is partially blocked.

      Not sure if it is the remote control or the light switch unit but any line of sight restriction such as a partially opened door even from just 2-3 metres inside the room prevents operation. Even without any obstruction, it is often necessary to press the remote button twice to get it to work. Pretty useless really.

      Useful gadget

      Great addition to adjusting the lighting in my living room but some programming instructions would have been useful. If I hadn't found the info on the switch instructions I would still be trying to programme it. Now its done very happy with the product

      Replacement

      Same make and model that served me well for 5 years until I dropped it on the stone floor. This coincided with me finding dimmable LED lights. The remote control doesnโ€™t seem as efficient as my previous handset, but I donโ€™t know if itโ€™s the fault of the handset or the LED bulbs.

      Well made, good quality remote

      Nice looking remote loads of programes but only need Button 1 to dim/brighten and Button 8 for on/off. Got two of these in house never had a problem.
