    Asmund Short Stroke Trigger pro/con

    I've installed two of the asmund triggers. One on a Taurus G2, and a G2c. Installation on the 1st trigger took about 35 minutes. The second one about 15 minutes. The spring on the trigger safety was the hardest part - just like in the videos you can find online. The installed trigger on the G2c worked as expected. The installed trigger on the G2 would trip the "hammer" on the 1st pull but would not trip or reset on subsequent pulls. Apparently requires some fine filing on the front of the trigger, however, I removed that trigger and reinstalled the original trigger. I'm waiting for clarification as to where exactly the trigger needs to be filed.

    Good trigger but not drop in

    Nice Improvement over stock but not a drop in. I had to have mine brought to a gunsmith to get the trigger safety to function correctly. The rear recess where the (Dingus) trigger safety rides is too shallow allowing the trigger safety to fail if put under any pressure allowing the trigger to be depressed without depressing the trigger safety. The recess area of the trigger needed to be built up and now it is 100% and the trigger safety functions as it should. Nice product just not a drop in.

    Asmund short stroke trigger

    Make sure you watch the YouTube video it help to install the trigger still a little bit tricky but you can do it. It does shorten the pull a bit I’m not quite sure how much is it worth it I not sure maybe. Would I recommend it probably not sorry

    Works good - but watch the Video!

    It works as advertised, Thankfully they have a link to a video on how to do it! I need to look at it several times putting gun back together! I wished the edges were rounded off a little more, but I can do it.

    Just take your time putting it together,and you should be ok

    The trigger is well made,, the only problem that i had was getting the trigger spring and action bar together, other than that it went ok. when you are done, check it out carefully,any time you do trigger work there is a libility make double sure you have it right.
