Radiant Rider-Waite Tarot by US Games Systems
Describing these cards as Radiant is not an overstatement, they shine and glow. The cards have a clean, white border all around the images, with the numbers on the top in Roman numerals for the Major Arcana and spelled out in capital letters on the Minors. The titles and suits are in capital letters, in the same typeface, also centered on the bottom of the cards. This is truly a nice upgrade to the original Rider-Waite deck. The images are more detailed and vibrant. "The Radiant Rider-Waite Deck infuses bold bright colors into the traditional landscape of the original deck first painted by Pamela Coleman Smith," says the U.S. System. The cards seem to have a softer more three dimensional look than the original, some of the images seem to jump right out at you. This definately will be ... The Radiant deck is very vibrant well done I highly recommend it everyone
Very nice vibrant deck, if you have an original R-W deck the Radiant deck would be a good purchase, it is refreshing. The images are clear and very detailed where the original R-W deck is dull and the images are blurred.If you are trying to decide on a new deck for your collection or if this is your first deck you will not be disappointed. I can only find three very very minor issues with this deck but I noticed it and therefore think I should tell you. I noticed that the cards are of a slightly thinner stock compared to my 10 year old original R-W deck. The image field is slightly smaller I compared the cards side by side to make sure I was not imagining it. The last item is the pip cards are numbered in English across the top instead of roman numerals. I knew this from other pics of ...
