It might protect the ipad, but it's got lots of hard plastic edges and is uncomfortable to hold. Only the corners are rubberised, the straight edges are plastic with sharp edges. The case is also open at the bottom to allow the attachment of a keyboard so the bottom edge of the ipad is open. Finally the back is a hard plastic with the pen holder which, again, is uncomfortable to hold. Find it hard to believe Griffin made this, their survivor case for Ipad Air is very good. This feels like a cheap knockoff. Avoid
