I'm thinking maybe it's been opened/repaired. I've got a few of these with bigger storage capacities and none sound as if something is loose inside. May have been done in transit but there's no physical damage to the outside of the drive so I'm not sure that's the case. Yet to try it but for the money I guess it's not a big issue if it doesn't work.
