Fast dispatch. This is a beautiful, sturdy, large seed/peanut feeder. I don't see any chance of the squirrels getting into this one, as the cage bars much closer together than on most other 'squirrel resistant' feeders. I love squirrels, but the youngsters have distroyed 6 feeders already this year. So this is my last option. 🤞🤞Thank you very much.

Bemuse your pigeons…
Good quality item , built well. Feels nice and strong. Only took the wee birds about 10/15 minutes to suss out how to get at the food. But the best thing, is that the pigeons no longer hog all the food. They had learned to hang on to the previous feeder, and flap their wings to stay up there. Gobble down seed whilst also knocking seed everywhere for all their other mates. I once filled my average size feeder up 6 times in a single day, I went through so much seed. But now, that’s a lot less because it’s only the wee ones who are benefiting. Yes the pigeons still loiter about for the scraps that fall to the ground but they’ll learn soon enough that it’s no longer a food source for them. I think the smaller birds feel safer too, with space for 4 feeding ports inside, there are definitely ... Good quality item , built well. Feels nice and strong. Not good
Although this is made of hardy materials item it just doesn’t fit the bill! The inside funnel is not attached and moves about spilling the contents. Also and maybe it is a fault but I can’t fix the top into the main body so I cannot hang it and it is on the ground!! Only sparrows can reach the food which is fine but it was crows, magpies and similar sized birds, not starlings and similar sized birds that I wanted to keep out!Although this is made of hardy materials item it just doesn’t fit the bill! Rubbish lid design comes off far to easy.
The lid is very insecure and comes off very easily. I find it on the ground daily and the squirrels are able to get to the seed through the top. It’s starting to show signs of rust under the top already having only been outside for a fortnight. Cheap thin quality metal. Guardman quality has really gone downhill over the past few years. It looks squirrel secure but clearly isn’t due to the poor quality top design. It’s a shame as it’s the only all metal feeder I can find with a cage. I was using the Jacobi Jayne Big Easy feeder. Far superior in build quality but not a squirrel proof feeder so I was loosing all my seed to the squirrels, such a shame that they don’t make that with a squirrel cage around it. 1) good sized cage so squirrels have a job poking their thieving heads in. 2) the ports & perches seem to be made of metal - most are made of plastic that squirrels will gnaw away as they prevent getting close 3)The paint is good quality. I have had mine a year and just a tiny amount of rust at joins easily dealt with. This is a top quality item should last a long time so worth the extra. Blue and Great tits have no problem getting to the sunflower seeds I fill them up with. Rugged Simple and Works
Fact…most squirrel feeders do not work or, in the case of mechanical shut off types, for only a short period. This much simpler design is ruggedly built, easy to fill and we do not now have a garden full of Magpies, Wood Pigeons and squirrels. But do have long tail Tits, Robins and Gold Finches
