    Excellent secondary cooker

    Bought this as my main oven broke down on a Sunday when putting lunch to cook. Excellent piece of equipment!! My neighbour has one so thought I'd try it as main oven is insured with CURRYS. Very fast and timings and temperatures takes some getting used to but otherwise brilliant. You do need somewhere heat proof to put the lid onto when checking food (I use small metal table) and it gets very hot so no under cupboard location. You can also use roasting bags in it which saves cleaning up!! When I get my oven back I will still be using this oven aswell as my husband loves it. Baked potatoes are gorgeous !!

    I wouldn't recommend it.

    The manual recommends high temperatures for short cooking times. This simply burns and dries out whatever you are trying to cook - e.g. a whole chicken, in 15 minutes - ?? I am experimenting with trying 'normal' cooking times at lower temperatures to see if this produces better results. I hope it is just the manual that is hopeless, otherwise I will have wasted my money. The stand and internal furniture of the pot is very thin and poor quality, I don't see it standing up to much use. The knobs on the top are difficult to use as they are set into the lid at an angle and can't be viewed straight on, and are awkward to turn.

    Great for cooking almost anything

    This is my 3rd halogen oven but the 1st Emperial branded one.Wouldn't be without it,can cook most dishes in it.Quicker than a conventional oven but still browns and crisps food.Easy to use,just a timer setting and a temperature setting.Self clean function is great.Was really pleased that this one came with a lid stand as most brands don't.

    Great looking, smart and compact.

    Good value for money savings on electric also., Easy to use and keep clean. Cooks beautiful but remember in most cases it cooks quicker than conventional ovens. Good range of extras included in the price. Sadly no cook book or instructions included in packaging. Luckily I have a booklet from my old oven, You will never regret buying a Halogen Oven.

    Chicken is the best with crisp skin with this halogen oven.

    I've used Halogen ovens previously but this one is much better quality than my last one. It's so much more convenient for cooking and is the best crisp chicken ever cooked. Veg is also good to cook, along with sauces and all. Is easy to use, fast to use, cooks all foods so well that I haven't used my conventional oven for years. So easy to clean and like that I don't bend down to take hot foods out of a conventional oven. I bought this new one as was moving into a new property to replace my old one. The price is also amazing. So pleased.
