The orange/ red and black colours were vibrant as shown and when washed only a small amount of dye came out. The cotton material is not as soft as I was expecting, however, and it probably would not hang as well if softer. The length comes mid- calf on me ( 6 ft ). Also, the sleeves could be longer and the white binding does make the kimono look more “ dressing- gown- ish “ A belt of the same material is included. This garment could easily be altered to suit personal tastes. E.g shortened .
