Value for money is a good price unless you buy the 25ltr container. The appearence is a light yellow which does not detract from the colour of the wood. Will use again, once again excellent service.

    Danish Oil for restoring old garden furniture

    Not as much of a varnish finish as Rustins proprietary product, but excellent value for money in comparison; so can't complain and very happy overall. Using it for old grey mossy teak garden furniture - which came up amazingly (following a lot of effort with jet wash and sander then a couple of coats of this product). We're relatively local in Sussex (where its manufactured) which hopefully saves some carbon in transport. The savings in purchasing 5ltr from this semi-wholesaler were multiples compared to 500ml of proprietary product from hardware shop.

    Good quality danish oil

    Good value danish oil that was quickly dispatched. I used this for my softwood garden furniture and I couldn't be happier with the result! After power washing and a light sanding, the furniture had become bleached and pale in colour. As in description, this danish oil gives the furniture a look of it being wet, in that the shade is deeper (without colouring it) and it has brought the grain out. Easy to apply with a brush or pad. I didn't try using a sprayer as I wanted a good thick coat. White spirit cleaned the brushes with ease. Before and after pic attached.

    Danish Oil 5LTRS

    The Danish Oil is of good quality, applied in 3 coats not thick gives good application. Allow at least 4 hrs between coats give a durable outdoor coat for your garden furniture, will use again.

    Good value and results

    Fine up to now but the real test of it will be how long and good it lasts through the summer and overwintering. Goes on easily and equipment cleans with little effort. Customer is highly pleased with the colour and finish.

    Rye oils, Danish.

    I've used various oils over the years so when I came across the Rye brand I wondered what it would be like especially since it was a very good price. It turns out to be the best oil I've used. Highly recommended.
