Great multi-use stand
Not only is this a great compact padded uke stand but it also doubles as an iPad /music holder when placed on a table while playing. It's easy to stick in your bag when getting together with friends to play ukes. It's fantastic when using iPads for your music but also doubles for sheet music when you place a piece of cardboard on it first. All players in my ukulele group now have one. It's balanced and hold up my banjo straight up and safe. Folds up easily for travel but know that although flat it is still large enough that it will not fit in the case along with the instrument.

Not for Tenor ukes
I have 5 various brands of tenor ukes and none of them will fit in this stand. The front to back dimension of the holders is only 2 & 1/2 inches. If you have a large vise, you can remove the foam off the holders and CAREFULLY re-bend the holders to make them about 3 & 1/2 inches deep. If that is too much trouble for you, find a different brand. (These are OK for soprano ukes.)
