My G*d - didn't really expect it to work at that price - but hey, made mincemeat out of removing 6mm threaded bolts where the head had sheared off and the shank had seized in. Ok, so the 1mm bit broke and I didn't have to use the extractors but it did the job no sweat. My advice - fwiw - drill v slowly and gradually increase drill size. Thank you bennys.tools

    Good little set but not sure how tough it is.

    Seems good. I marked it as not being of good quality because nothing this cheap can be. That said, it extracted a sheared M6 bolt that seemed to be of quite hard steel judging by the way iy resisted being centrepunched. The drill cut into it very well and seemed to remain sharp and the extractor did its job without snapping (which I feared most.) A set like this only has to work once to pay for itself which it has done.

    Great kit for those bolts that shear off, most times you don't need extractor, the left hand twist drills remove the broken bolt
