The on/off button became loose and then fell off my 4 year-old Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I popped it back in and things were fine for a few days. Then the same happened again, but this time I lost the button. I was using a paperclip or the stylus and the LOCK settings to turn the phone on and off, while these replacement buttons were on the way. When I popped the new button in place it made a reassuring click and, so far, there has been no recurrence. Fingers crossed!
