    Cheapest /best upgrade you can have !

    Huge difference, now I can play 1080p videos on YouTube without choppy image, great upgrade for just 9£ brand new ! Installation is difficult for somebody who does not have experience with disassembling laptops. Highly recommended ! From 2.13 GHz to 2.8 GHz it does make a big difference, also this one has 6mb L2 cache !!!

    Dell 1545, T9600 CPU change

    Upgrade on a dell 1545, running win10, originally supplied with a T4400 (2.2 celeron single core) it was getting sluggish and freezing. Time to switch was less than 20 minutes. Bios version A14 is recommended and will accept up to the T9900 (3.2). The T9600 has shortened the boot time by a 1/3, somewhere near its win 7 boot time when new. Internet page changes are now virtually instant instead of a ten+ second delay. Ram upgrade beyond 2+2g is extortionate, this is at a reasonable cost and is quite spectacular for an old machine.

    Core2Duo processor upgrade

    Great easy upgrade for socket p laptop processor, buy some good thermal compound and check cpu temp with realtemp from techpowerup. A went from a 2Ghz to 2.8Ghz with 6M L3 cache and a 40-60% overall speed increase , given old laptop a new lease of life
