      Good FM but very poor AM quality.

      Although the FM reception and sound quality on this radio is good, the AM reception is full of static and very hard to listen to. As we mainly bought it to listen to AM radio, it does not meet our needs so I have marked it down.

      Good value for money

      Excellent lightweight/portable radio

      This is a great little radio. It is light and easy to move around with me as I potter around on my property - re-landscaping. You could take it anywhere to listen to your preferred station. I have found that the reception is excellent on both AM and FM. The sound quality is excellent and is not tinny. The body of the radio and the dials are good and solid too - not flimsy.
