Silverline Tapered Stainless Steel Bore/Hole Gauge, dual markings.
A very useful but also uncommon object, unlike a hole gauge (say). This tapered bore/hole gauge is made from stainless steel and is clearly marked in both Inches and Centimeters. I thought that such a simple measuring device would be more expensive but I am pleased to associate with my extensive collection of hand and power tools.

Such a small cheap item makes such a different when you can measure twist and deflection along a length of most rigid items quickly and easily. Should be in every measuring kit
