I can see again!
At Last! A replacement modern led bulb that floods the room with light. I can see again. Even at around £10 per bulb, if you have just a standard BC light fitting in the ceiling, this bulb is a real, instant 150w equivalent. (It is bigger than a standard old fashioned 60w but then so is an old fashioned 150w bulb). The packet doesn't recommend it for an enclosed fitting,as that may shorten its life, but for a decent size shade it works fine. It doesn't generate as much heat as an old tungsten filament bulb anyway. Love it!At Last! A replacement modern led bulb that floods the room with light. I can see again.
