Hadn't noticed the bit about harboard drawer bases so have had to reinforce the drawer bottoms with ply to strenghten them as I doubt they would last long. Apart from that, it matches my other Corona Chest I purchased a while ago, (which DOES have PINE bottoms inside the drawers). Seems a shame that manufacturers skimp on this detail these days.
