    Better than usual fitting method.

    Our old seat broke and the lid cracked. It also moved around because it had circular mounts. This seat is easy to fit and seems very strong. It does not move. The fixing clips can be easily adjusted for tightness by a nut. Caution. As the lid is raised, the back rests under the seat lift about a centimetre. After a while the back of the seat cracked and broke at the hinges. This was due to the design of our back to wall pan. Make sure your existing seat does not stay flat when the lid is raised.

    Faulty soft close toilet seat

    Fitted toilet seat and soft close feature worked beautifully. Unfortunately this only lasted about 10 times and now just slams shut.

    Toilet seat.

    The dimensions given in the sales description didn’t relate to the dimensions of the front of the seat from the fixing holes. As a result the seat doesn’t suit the toilet. The sales information says if the PVC is opened they won’t accept a return. It was impossible to verify the actual dimensions without opening the package. I now have a toilet seat which is not fit for purpose.
