About this product

Product Information

Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis get their first star pairing in this hilarious song-and-gag-filled comedy. The duo play Puccinelli and Korwin, pals who join the army and immediately get into a load of trouble on a military training base. Highlights include a sequence involving a noncooperative soda machine, Jerry Lewis performing "The Navy Gets the Gravy But the Army Gets the Beans," and the team's impersonation of the Bing Crosby-Barry Fitzgerald characters from the classic film GOING MY WAY.

  • Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin are the greatest

Our family is collecting ALL the Jerry Lewis/Dean Martin movies. We rented one and our teenage daughter went nuts. They are now her favorite. She gets excited each time we find one she hasn't seen. The Stooge so far is her favorite. With media (TV,radio and movies) out there today, it's nice to know you can find clean entertainment that kids can actually enjoy. (I'm sorry but a show like family guy use to be on at 10pm so kids would be less likely to watch. Now its on at dinner time!!! There is nothing we dislike about these movies. These men and their comedy is timeless! I just wish they had made hundreds more!

  • Watch this timeless comedy fun for the whole family

In their first movie together Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin are flawless in this fantastic comedy. I laughed I cried ( from laughing) and I laughed some more. Jerry Lewis is a young soldier who can't seem to do anything right and Dean is a grumpy over bearing Sergeant in the same platoon. As the plot unfolds watch Jerry sneak into town against his ordersto stay at the base so he dresses in drag then has to sing to a drunken soldier and poor Jerry proves his loyalty to his friend. Dean sings in this movie and his voice will captivate even the youngest of hearts. I have 4 children ranging from teenager to toddler and they all love this movie this is a timeless classic

  • All-Time Funny Movie

This movie is just what I like to call a kneeslapper. Jerry Louis will make you laugh over and over again while watching this one. It's practicaly a pun on the army and truly innovated. I gave this one four stars since some of the jokes are slightly outdated and well, just not that funny. If you like comedies go ahead and get this one, you'll like it. Thanks For Reading, And I Hope I Helped, Justin
