    Looks great, works well, does everything I need

    I went for this as a replacement for a secondhand 18" G5 PowerPC-based iMac which cost the same as this four or five years ago, but this one gives me a lot more for the money. That one was whiney, but this one is almost silent and that's a big plus. Some might say the glossy screen is a disadvantage because of reflections, but it looks so great on or off that I can put up with sometimes swivelling it away from the light or closing a curtain. This 4-year-old machine was between a half and a third the price of a new one, and the processor power and memory are way beyond anything I'm likely to need. Macs cost more because they're better and more user-friendly - cut down on keyboard-rage!

    Class act

    Although chunkier than latest models, this imac runs latest OS X (El Capitan) and has an excellent gloss/glass screen with high resolution. Runs apps fast and is a great all-rounder with no issues.

    Imac 24", PC or MAC???

    I work as a web-designer and for most of my life i have used a PC, but most of my friends are Mac user's and swear by them. After years of persuasion i decided to buy a mac. On first glance it looks very impressive, it definitely makes my office look better. I found it second to nothing for watching films, the screen quality as extremely impressive. For web design I found it annoying because I'm used to Pc software and i did not have the time to learn where all the functions are. After a week of using it i have to say i prefer PC's, because for the same price as a imac i could have bought a PC twice as good "literally". mac's are great, they work well and you don't get virus's, but your going to have o dig deep in to your wallet to afford one.

    THE REASON TO BUY AN INTEL BASED ALLUMINIUM APPLE I-MAC

    his Apple I-MAC 24" intel based alluminium all in one computer is the Best all in one computeer on the marker for a number of resons..it is a MAC so its " IMMUNE " to these virouses that the villans have developed to ruin our enjoyment whilst online !! its got a 4 gb SDRAMM so it is very fast also it has a 64 bit snow leopard OSX software and that is the BESY DATABASE in the WORLD !! a massive hard drive..a built in webcam..NEED I GO ON ?? I AM A NEWLY CONVERTED APPLE LOVING GEEK and i added the IPHONE TO MY REPETOIR also...!!
