Just plug it in and follow easy and clear instructions to operate. I ran on sleep setting over night. I could not hear the fan, and no light option is available. My bedroom is in a basement with window below pavement. Occasional exhaust fumes have been a concern. I should have purchased sooner. I ran on low fan for a few hour pre sleep, great fresh atmosphere 😀

There is also an essential oil pad if you so wish to smell oils. The filter lasts up to a year and is cheaper than rivals at £40. The other air purifier units have an auto mode but this one filters up to 125m2 rooms and the CADR is 303m3/h. Arrived in perfect condition this is a wonderful product buy with confidence!
