Just the job for sealing around old cracked rubber windscreen seal. Black was much better for that job than using clear gel, which is great for headlights etc, but not so good around black rubbers. Tip: cut the conical cap at the 2nd stage, squeeze along edge of rubber where it touches the windscreen, then smooth with finger. Dries as if part of the original rubber. Any cracks in the body of the rubber can be sealed by smearing over the cracks using a finger. Suggest wearing a surgical glove.

    Soft pliable sealant, relatively easy to use, would benefit from a tool similar to an old can opener to squeeze sealant out of tube,

    Auto sealer

    Just the job easy to apply and dries fairly quickly. Remember to clean nozzle after use other wise it is a job to get out the remaining silicone.
