Very frustrated. Received different lense in a lot worse condition than described. Scratches, dust and moisture with fungus inside of the lens, when It clearly stated there isn't any. Buyer refused to provide shipping label or allow for shipping cost, and communication was near to non existent. Seller does not respond, I'm out of £47 import duty, have to pay for my own shipping back to seller or just pay for lens to be repaired. Do not recommend buying from him.

Bought this as I had one years ago just to have a play image’s hold up well against latest cameras hard to tell the difference unless you zoom to 100% or more for detail ISO good up to 1600 . In good light everything is great , indoors flash required . Even autofocus with a good lens is pretty good only nine autofocus points but for family snaps every day walkabout it’s good . It’s also a better build quality than the modern plastic bodies and the shutter goes up to 8000 against 4000 on all the entry new cameras. I'm new to DSLR photography so I wanted a good reliable camera to get mne started. I did some homework and read other reviews on Amazon and the like and decided to opt for the EOS30D. As you will know, there are a lot to choose from but the things that made my mind up were: - 1. Cost 2. Magnesiuum Body Construction 3. No Video (As I feel you loose still photography quality with adding video) 4. Good Brand Name. 5. Full "Auto Mode" for idiots! 6. A great camera with all the features I need and superb image quality.
Not used extensively as yet, but compared to my previous body(300d) it just feels far more solid and fits in my (not large) hands far better. A few quirks in the controls, but it seems more intuitive once you get used to them, I like the wheel as opposed to up, down, left and right. Really helps with AF point choice when looking through the viewfinder. Picture quality superb, as expected. Just added a Metz 36 AF-5 for flash duties, as the built in is still limiting, but knew that before I purchased. This is a repair service not a camera or camera parts. Seems counter-intuitive to send to Israel but repair carried out speedily and camera seems in good working order. Hope I don't need again, but would certainly use again.
