OK for use in the garage/greenhouse.
its no better or worse than other types of sharpeners that I have bought over the years. I think the only way to keep a knife sharp is to buy a better type of knife instead of buying a sharpener. As for its good value I put yes because the price I paid for it makes it ok to sharpen my old kitchen knives that I use in my garage /greenhouse and it does take the burrs off the edges.

Does the job brilliantly.
This is easy to use and sharpens smooth bladed, steel knives very well. I haven't tried sharpening my ceramic knives, so can't comment regarding those.

It would help some explanatory info
The product is sent without manual, operating instructions...anything... On the product itself there are markings of what its grinding polishing level is but it is all in Chinese.... you need to go on youtube ti see similar products to see what you can an can not do with every slot
