Looks really expensive. Some buyers have mentioned that it is noisy. I had to align the movement to the vertical, as it had moved slightly in transit and the pendulum was hitting the side of the case making a loud noise. Also had to fit a sticky pad to limit the pendulum movement slightly. As a resut, it is now virtually silent.

Wall clock
We bought this to replace a lovely pendulum clock which had lasted 20 years but then stopped working. While we like this Acctim, we were disappointed that there were no instructions with it. We had to go online to find out exactly how to set it. The major problem is that it is not very accurate. The original clock was high on a wall several feet above a gas fire. This never caused a problem with accuracy. The Acctim radio controlled clock has had to be moved to another wall because it's time-keeping was badly affected by the small amount of heat coming from the fire. There should be a warning of what can affect the accuracy of this clock - we nearly returned it as being faulty. I wouldn't buy it again but I cannot truthfully answer NO to any of the 3 questions. I am over the moon with this clock.
For the price I was a little dubious about what the “looks” were going to be. I definitely had no need to worry. It is an outstandingly, incredibly beautiful looking clock, one which you could easily tell friends that it cost £100.00 more than it really did.
