    Quality glass.

    I am new to Pentax DSLRs, having used Nikon, Canon and also Fuji CSCs. You get a lot of camera for your money. This lens is outstanding. Solid, well built, sharp and fast, silent autofocus. It's outstanding feature is the weather sealing. I shot all day in heavy rain and the lens mounted on a K-S2 body, worked flawlessly. I have used the Canon 200mm f2.8 L prime lens extensively but I think the Pentax is even better.

    Sharp lens

    A very handy lens. Very sharp with beautiful bokeh. The autofocus isn't super fast, but remember that it's not a wildelife lens, but it's fast enough to work without stress. And the 2.8 aperture! Super useful in low light.
