Featuring 15 cars from the 35th anniversary collection of Hot Wheels line of miniature cars, Hot Wheels World Race on GameCube takes players through a variety of fantasy courses that range from the insides of a volcano to the slippery terrain of an ice mountain. Stunts are as important as finishing first, and vehicles will be able to drive up corkscrew loops, leap off ramps, streak up walls, and perform other death-defying maneuvers while competing against a series of computer challengers or up to three friends for three consecutive laps. Each course features multiple routes to discover as well as obstacles to avoid, and players can help guarantee victories by knocking the competition off the tracks.     Unique, fun, and has an option for everybody

    I bought the Hot Wheels World Race video game for the GameCube when I wanted a nostalgia trip and noticed my PS2 version no longer worked. This is one of my favorite racing games for quite a few reasons. First, there are so many different characters to choose from! There are men and women of various races and ethnic groups, so young people are able to play as a character that resembles them. Second, each character has a different car with different stats in drift, speed, acceleration, and boost. This allows players to pick and choose from almost any combination of stats. Third, the courses are really unique - just as you'd expect from Hot Wheels. Even people who don't enjoy traditional racing games may find this a fun alternative.     Excellent racing game for World Race/Acceleracers fans!

    The game is easy to learn, my four-year-old as well as his senior grandparents have been able to figure out the nuances of this well done game. It features, Vert, Kadeem, Taro, Banjee and the other world racers and their cars. Multiple racing modes, from time trials, challenges to team races make the game interesting.
