      Excellent quality great deal at under $12.

      Excellent replacement stem shifters. To improve, it could use s shim for narrower stems. Also some cable covers for the end of the wire cable after the derailleurs would be welcome. It prevents people getting stuck by a sharp cable end and would prevent fraying.

      So Much Better

      I have had indexed gears on my bike for ten years and it has been a constant struggle to keep them synchronized. Maybe it was just the system I had, but they seemed to need constant attention--and a full-time maintenance tech. This friction system may be a literal return to old technology, but it's an absolute upgrade for me.

      Fixed my old 12-Speed Bicycle

      This is a great replacement setup for my 12-Speed Bicycle. The original shifter set was plastic and broke after many years of service. I didn't want to throw the bicycle away, so I was able to fix it with this shifter setup. Installation was easy, included cables were more than long enough (just cut off the excess with wire cutters) and I was back on the road. Thank you for a great product.

      Great option

      While I would have loved expensive bar end shifters for my gravel build this shifter is cheap and bullet proof. And I'm able to use it on my stem conversion.

      Good improvement.

      It comes with wires, which turned out to be a bonus. I can now access 18 gears instead of 6. I was able to mount on the steering post, getting the broken shifters off the bars.
