Tuner is very accurate and makes tuning a new ukulele or strings easy

This is a must have item for any ukulele owner/player. It just clips onto the head and is very sensitive for accuracy and ease of use. I used this model tuner on new ukuleles I gave as holiday gifts weeks before giving and it was easy to tune them all in a couple minutes.

      Broken

This Snark tuner broke 5 minutes after I started to use it. The ball that swivels broke out of its socket. I taped it with electrical tape and am using it, but was sad that the base cracked, or was it already weakened? I don't know. The tuner works great, I like it, but was dissapointed that it broke off right awsy.

    • Very easy to tell when you are in tune.

Nice unit makes tuning easy. I have used earlier Snarks with my guitars, but this model is easier to use with a wider 'in tune' green slice. My only complaint is the clamp that holds the tuner to the headstock could open wider with less effort. The clamp barely opens wide enough to fit onto my Kala slothead.

    • Easy to use, easy to read

I have a piano and a ukulele, kept jumping up to the piano to tune my ukulele. This little contraption just clips on and that's that. Also perfect for traveling or for whenever I'm away from the piano and wanting to tune. Inexpensive and worth it.

    • probably the best there is

i haven't tried them all, but i've tried a dozen or two. this seems to be veryveasy, very accurate, and very affordable. all tuners require some knowledge/skill, so be willing to practice with it for 15 mins or so 'til you understand what it does and how it reacts to your picking and tuning. i suggest gentle picking to minimize overtones/harmonics.
