Get what you pay for
The guards themselves are stout and welded well, zinc plating is fine if not the most uniformly covered The issue is the bolts are made of cheese and not long enough to get the clamps started to pull in, also the heads are too small for the holes so washers are used and they start to deform and pull into the holes as you tighten them. Really the bolts needed to be stronger grade and longer to allow for having to open the clamp up to get them on. Buying new bolts solves this issue. Simple protect to your diff
My rear diff housing was damaged and repaired more time before i boughr my disco 1, the fluid was leaking continuously, i had to change the whole diff housing, compared to the prive of that this guard worth every penny, i wish the pre-owner installed it earlier...

Theese diff guards are way too slim in materilal to hold up even a millder terrain once screwed in place.
