About this product

Product Information

NCAA March Madness returns to Xbox 360 with more than 70 classic squads from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, revamped player models, and new authentic arenas. Brad Nessler and Dick Vitale are back for play-by-play commentary and analysis, while Erin Andrews makes her debut with up-to-the-minute sideline reports. A new "Dynamic Post Control" feature has players chaining together hook spins, drop steps, pump fakes, up-and-unders, and other seamless moves on both sides of the ball.

Other changes include custom playbooks for each team and custom online leagues. Visual enhancements like form-fitting uniforms or breakaway rims add to the atmosphere, as crowds chant school fight songs and influence on-court composure. Team Intensity Control is a momentum-based meter that builds during hot streaks and breaks down with poor play. When the meter is full, teams can initiate an "impact moment" to temporarily boost performance, intimidate the rival team, or pump up the crowd.

The multi-season Dynasty Mode is back with added detail. Simulated games can be interrupted at any point and switched to manual control, while both preseason and postseason versions of the 32-team National Invitation Tournament are playable. The McDonald's High School All American game is also included, along with new recruiting and alumni challenges. EA's exclusive relationship with ESPN lets players access ESPN.com, receive score updates via ESPN Sports Ticker, and listen to ESPN Radio.

  • Great game for the price

The game is very easy to setup and use. My teenage sons love the feel and operation of this game. The features and controls are easy to use and understand also. Buy this if you like NCAA Basketball.

  • roundball time

Really like this easy to use basketball game. You can train your team to make them better..Play in the NIT or Maui Classic or play regular conference games and play in the big show "March Madness" tournament...Its a blast..good graphics and players are pretty amazing at their skills. I would highly recommend for a mid level gamer who likes college sports.

  • More Fantastic Madness

I have always been a fan of EA's March Madness series. This one maintains the same fantastic gameplay as years past. People always complain when there is nothing new but why tamper with perfection?! Graphics are fluid and smooth. Hook this bad boy into an Xbox with an LCD TV and HDMI cable and it will blow Playstation away. This series is much more accurate than other NCAA hoops series. Believable gameplay. Thats a big deal to me. No CPU shots from half court sinking at the buzzer. As realistic as it comes.

  • NCAA March Madness 08

Camera angles are not the greatest, and there is no way to display individual players, unless you look at the bottom left of your screen you are unable to see who has the ball. Player reaction and button delay is a little more than expected, but overall it is a great game, fun to play.

  • NCAA March Madness 08 (Xbox 360)

I bought this game for my 26 year old son. No killing, no blood, just a lot of fun. It has announcers, players and crowds that are like real life. It was a real joy to watch him play and so life like. He said, "Its come a long way from Atari."
