I bought this because I already owned a copy and wanted to share one with my father, who has recently had to learn to cook following the death of my mother. I thought this would serve him well as it has very quick, easy to follow and tasty recipes in it. He doesn't like spending ages cooking for himself, but he does like to eat well. This is my favourite cook book at the moment because it has some superb pasta dishes and a variety of Thai curries as well as her usual tasty desserts and snacks.
